1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the VLL Professional Spanish website and your booking of any tuition programme with VLL Professional Spanish (“VLL”, “we”, “us”, “our”), based in Alicante, Spain. By booking a consultation, enrolling in a programme, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
2. Our Services
VLL Professional Spanish provides private one-to-one Spanish language tuition ONLINE, across a range of programmes described on our Programmes page. Programme content, duration and pricing are as set out at the time of booking and may be updated from time to time.
3. Enrolment and Booking
Enrolment begins with a free consultation. Once you choose a programme, we will confirm the schedule, fees and start date in writing by email. Your place is confirmed once payment has been received in accordance with Section 4.
4. Fees and Payment
- Programme fees are shown per month and per programme on our website and will be confirmed to you before you begin.
- Payment is due in accordance with the schedule agreed at enrolment (for example, monthly in advance, or as a single payment for the full programme).
- We reserve the right to suspend sessions if payment is not received as agreed.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
- Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged as delivered, except in cases of documented emergency.
- If you wish to cancel your programme, please contact us in writing; refunds for sessions not yet delivered will be considered on a case-by-case basis, less any administrative costs already incurred.
6. Your Responsibilities
You agree to attend sessions punctually, engage constructively with the programme, and provide accurate information about your goals and level to help us tailor your tuition effectively.
7. Intellectual Property
All teaching materials, exercises and resources provided as part of your programme remain the intellectual property of VLL Professional Spanish and are provided for your personal use only. They may not be copied, distributed or reproduced without our prior written consent.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all information shared during sessions, and any documents you ask us to review, as confidential, and we will not share it with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are committed to delivering our services with professionalism and care. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, such as exam results or a particular language level, as these depend on multiple factors including your own engagement and study outside sessions. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the programme fees paid.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on our website at the time of your booking; material changes will be communicated to enrolled students in advance.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alicante, Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
