VLL Professional Spanish is my newest venture, born from more than ten years teaching Spanish to international adults. It began in 2014 with the founding of Viva la Lengua, a Spanish school in the centre of Alicante that, until its closure in 2021, welcomed more than 1,750 students from 98 countries under my direction of a five-person team. During those years, a distinct kind of demand emerged: expats and international professionals — including staff from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the team behind the Volvo Ocean Race — who needed functional, professional Spanish, alongside students preparing for official exams as part of their academic and professional journeys.
I created VLL Professional Spanish to answer that demand properly, with a defined programme, brand and pricing structure of its own.
